Sunset Films is a primarily not-for-profit organisation providing TV and media production for the community.
Founded by Richard Brown with his full production team, Sunset Films has been making TV and media for more than 15 years.
Our latest TV series is Pet’s Practice with Dr Kevin, which premiers in Australia nationwide on June 5th 2013.
Pets Practice is a show that highlights common, but not often thought about, veterinary concerns as well as exploring the state for interesting animals; animal places and fascinatingly dedicated animal people. Uniquely to our show, we also follow a group of puppies as they start their lives with their new owners, for the first six months of their lives.

We commenced producing underwater documentaries which has expanded to Television production – corporate, educational, marketing, publicity productions for not-for-profit charities and the community. Sunset Films has assisted Wildlife Victoria, Better Hearing Australia, Scootering the Nation, the Mary Mackillop Foundation and Save the Children with producing their DVD requirements for websites, YouTube, fund raising and training material.
In January 2013 We completed our second Television series called Money and Your Life, a financial lifestyle show with Host Kris Bondin. The shows helps ordinary Aussies with financial and lifestyle tips to get their lives back on track. The show was air over the summer of 2012/13 on C31 Melbourne, C44 Adelaide and Digital44 Brisbane, all on Monday evenings.
This series follows our first show Victoria’s Islands which was aired on C31 in the summer of 2011/12 . The DVD boxed set is now available. We recieved some fantastic feedback from the general public on the series and are now looking to partner with a Melbourne based production company to produce ‘Australia’s Islands’. Victoria’s Islands has since aired on WTV in WA, C44 in SA, is currently on TVS and being repeated on C31 Melbourne.
